Sorry it's been awhile. The broken collar bone is healing fast. Eating right is a big factor and following the Dr. suggestions. Mainly walking, lunges and a lot of stretching of both legs and arms. Depending on the speed you do of some of the stretches you can get a great work out. Again, if you just need to start out light , go the free videos on this site and just follow them. I have started laying out a new workout as soon as I get the OK. I will write to you soon. Thank you, Lin

I've had a lot of people ask about diets and all I can tell them is that everyone is different and most will work if you follow them. Most people can't. The best thing I can reccomend is that you type in healthy foods into your search engine and write down the foods you like and start trying them. Eat until you are about 75% full and have one or two glasses of water with each meal. If you eat the foods you like that are healthy you will have a better chance at reaching your goals. Good luck

Please check out the single video page to see how to do the easiest push up in the world. In fact it's the best way for anyone to start and work their up to doing a push up on the floor. Just to get the body mechanics right first. In fact I do them all the time while watching TV or cooking dinner. Very easy and effective. Of course the other exercise videos are great to do too! If you will enter hiking or walking path, into your search engine you might be surprized at how many are near your home. Consider it a new adventure and take someone with you on a nice walk or hike. It's not a contest or a race. It's a way to enjoy life and get some exercise and give thanks for all your blessings. Surprize yourself and just go.

This morning after my normal stretching and warm up. I went on a 10 mile bike ride with two of our grandsons Aidan & Jack. Ages 9 & 11. We weren't in a race but it was sort of compeitive with the boys. We didn't mean to ride 10 miles, it just happened as we discovered new things and talked about stuff. Fun stuff.         Point is that we had fun and got some exercise and YES you can too!!!!

Went swimming today at the local swimming pool and just hung onto the side and paddled my legs for awhile. Did a few breast stokes. free style and a couple of back strokes. I then got into a game of catch the nerf ball in the pool with some local kids.
Point is I had fun and exercised. It brought back memories that made me feel even younger and YES you can too if you really want too....have fun

A friend ask me if my site was to simple. I thought for a second and said no. It has been my experience that people in general complicate anything if given to much information at first. It's best to have a solid foundation (basic exercises) and when they are ready give them everything. Always get the basics down first at any endevor

Off to the Zoo today with my grandkids and then maybe the pool to cool off. A day of fun and the exercise I get is just a perk. We should all play more often...think simple
